The Ebony Room is a bright cheery room at the front of the house. Original contemporary art by Fanch Ledan and Anatole Krasnyanski enhance the decor, truly an eclectic and interesting combination. The sitting area in the box bay window is a wonderful place for you to share coffee and conversation with your special someone. Perhaps you would rather spend some time outside, on your private Juliet balcony, with a bistro set for two, and wrought iron window boxes bursting with geraniums. This is the perfect place for an intimate meal or a relaxing nghtcap while you enjoy the cool evening breeze. After dinner, return to luxuriate in your comfy memory-foam topped queen-size bed and slumber until you are awakend by the tantalizing aromas of breakfast being prepared for you. Your private ensuite bathrom is only steps away with Avon toiletries, comfortable robes and fluffy towels for your comfort.

Booking Information
Please note that there is a minimum 2 night stay on bookings during the Stratford Festival season. There may be some exceptions, however, so contact us directly to see if this is possible. Additional fees may apply.

General terms
Strict Covid-19 protocols are in effect.
We require proof of double or triple vaccination before you enter our Bed and Breakfast.
Masks are mandatory and must be worn in all areas of the house except while you are eating or when you are in your own room.
Social distancing is required. Please do not come in contact with other guests staying in the house except at a distance outside, and do not enter any part of the house that is not assigned to you. Please respect everyone’s privacy.
When your credit card number is given, it will indicate that you have read and agreed to our policies and your room will be held in good faith.
Damages
The guest will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any breakages, missing items, or damage to property and furnishings, particularly the staining of linens, towels or carpet. This said cost will be charged to the credit card number used to reserve the room.
Lost & Found
Reasonable effort will be made to contact guests if any belongings are left on the premises. Items will be shipped back at owner’s expense. If we are unable to reach the guest, items will be placed in our Lost & Found and donated to charity after 60 days.
No Smoking
Smoking or the burning of candles or incense is not permitted in guest rooms or in the common areas of the house.
If it is found that a person has been smoking in the house, extra charges will be incurred based on the fee for professional smoke cleaning services, plus a fee for loss of business for that room while this occurs.
Lost Keys
If forgotten keys are not returned within a reasonable length of time a $50 charge will be levied to replace the lock.
Allergies
Food is prepared in our kitchen that may be allergens to some people. Mornington Rose Bed and Breakfast does not assume responsibility for special circumstances due to allergic reactions. Food may have been prepared in our kitchen which some people may be allergic to, such as nuts. Although our property is thoroughly cleaned regularly, Mornington Rose Inc. will not be held responsible for any health problems.
Liability Policy
The Mornington Rose Bed and Breakfast will not be held liable for any injury of guests, or any loss, theft, or damage to any personal property of guests. Parking in our lot is at your own risk.
Pets
Our cats, Spike, Calli, Shadow and Gus reside in our personal section of the house. Although they are not allowed in guest areas, they do not allow other pets.
Rules
No pets. No smoling. No parties. No children.
Cancellation
Cancellations made 30 days in advance will forfeit the 25%/room/night ron-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made less than 30 days in advance will result in the full room(s) rate being applied. The guest will be responsible for the full cost of the stay. If the room can be rebooked, however, no further charges over and above the deposit plus a $25 administration fee will be incurred.
Room reservations made within 30 days of your arrival date are considered firm and non-refundable.
