The Mornington Rose Bed and Breakfast  is a perfect place to relax while enjoying your stay in Stratford.  We feature four luxurious bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, and tastefully decorated common areas for your comfort. Our home is air-conditioned and smoke-free.  Harriet, our cat, resides in our part of the house, separate from guest areas, however, she does not allow other pets.

The Mornington Rose is adult-oriented. 

We welcome business and corporate guests. Common areas can be easily adapted to accommodate business meetings and  gatherings, and office equipment is available upon request.  Lunch and refreshments can be provided for an additional fee.

We offer reduced rates during the off-season and are open all year. Please note that we may be unavailable during some time periods.

Join us in our dining room for a hot, traditional silver service breakfast. 

Coffee and juice is ready at 8:00 a.m. for those who like to enjoy their coffee and newspaper at their leisure.  At 9:00, fruit, yogurt, granola, home-made baking and preserves is served, followed by a hot entree. Chef's choice could be strata, quiche, fruited pancakes or crepes, Eggs Benedict or Florentine, french toast, or a filled omelet, with a selection of meat and vegetables, and edible flowers for garnish.

If you have any dietary needs or preferences please let us know when you make your reservation.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the lounge and dining room at any time.  Settle down with a good book, enjoy quiet conversation with friends, or relax amid the pillows on the window seat and enjoy the sunshine. Tea and coffee is always available  and is complimented by Murray's fresh, delicious homemade cookies.

Rose Suite $145.00/night (rates  shown in $CDN, subject to HST) We accept cash in Canadian or American currency, VISA, MasterCard and American Express

Policies

Deposit: No deposit is required at the time of booking,  however, we require valid credit card information to hold the room.

Cancellation: If you need to cancel your reservation thirty days in advance no charges will apply. Within thirty days we will do all we can to rebook the room.  If we are successful, there is no charge. Any room we are unable to rebook will be charged the full amount to your credit card.  Room reservations made within 30 days of your arrival date are considered firm and non-refundable.

Check-in/out

Check in time: 4:00 p.m. 
Early Check in option: Your room may not be available until 4 p.m. but if you need an early check-in, you may leave your bags and we will take them to your room when it is ready, by prior arrangement.

Check out time: 11:00 a.m.

Seasonal Information

Low season: November 7, 2010  through April 14, 2011  Excluding holidays.
